High-precision resistance thermometers
The PT100, PT500 and PT1000 series of resistance thermometers are known for their outstanding precision and reliability. These sensors use platinum resistance elements to measure temperature-dependent resistance changes, which enable extremely accurate temperature determination. They are ideal for applications where high measurement accuracy and long-term stability are required.
Reliability and precision over a wide measuring range
Our PT series offers resistance thermometers in three different versions – PT100, PT500 and PT1000 – which differ in their base resistance at 0 °C. PT100 has a resistance of 100 Ohm, PT500 of 500 Ohm and PT1000 of 1000 Ohm, resulting in different sensitivities and application ranges. All are made of high-purity platinum and guarantee excellent long-term stability and precise measurement results even under difficult conditions.
Versatile use in critical and demanding environments
The PT100, PT500 and PT1000 sensors are widely used in:
- Chemical industry: Monitoring process conditions in chemical reactors.
- Food processing: Ensuring compliance with precise temperature specifications for food safety.
- Pharmaceutical industry: Control of environmental conditions in manufacturing.
- HVAC: Precise control of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Detailed specifications for demanding applications
- Temperature ranges from -200 °C to +850 °C.
