Modular compact sensors for various physical measurands

The robust compact sensors of the MK series, assigned to the low-price segment, are developed for the application in excepionally rough environments and the adverse conditions appearing there.

They are applicable in shipbuilding, food industry and general applications in all areas of industry for heating, ventilation and air conditioning also optimally suitable for the application in engines, aggregates and mobile hydraulics.

By robust material, compact construction form and small dimensions, the sensors are extremely resistant. The durable connection of basic body (massive 1.4571 stainless steel turning workpiece) and enclosure is with protection class IP 67 suitable for almost all applications.

The internal cavity with electronics and new MATU transmitter is completely potted and thereby effectuates the high vibration resistance with the slightest susceptibilities. Because of this resistance against shocks and movements and because of the rapid response, the DNV-GL-approval for the MKTS-GL was granted.

The application in different areas is given also by programmability of the IO-Link or CANopen transmitter by software. In addition, the options extend the application range in relation on installation length, different process fittings and connection options as MIL plug, plug-in connector 43650, M12x1 plug and screwed cable gland.

The sensors of the MK series can be used in most different areas of temperature, level, flow, differential pressure and vibration measurement, besides, guarantee high exactness with low servicing expenditure and deliver absolutely reliable measuring values for long operation durations.
